AFTER Topshop created a bespoke collection of costumes for her summer festival turns (see them here), Florence Welsh - of Florence and the Machine - turned to British design talent Hannah Marshall to clothe her for her latest video. The video for Drumming sees Welsh in her signature dark but energetic style - and Marshall was delighted to provide the appropriate attire.

"I was thrilled to be the designer that created the key piece for Drumming," Marshall told VOGUE.COM."Working with Florence and her stylist Aldene Johnson showed me how exciting collaborating on different mediums can be.I feel my pieces lend themselves perfectly to music and performance and to see it all come together has been one of the highlights of my career so far."

Marshall's design consists of a stretch leather body suit with silk chiffon bat-wings which fasten at the wrist with crystal encrusted cuffs. The costume is designed to move dramatically to the beats of the drum in the song.

"Florence has been a real supporter of mine," Marshall added."So it was really special to work on a bespoke piece just for her."

The new single Drumming will be released on September 7.
