MARIOS SCHWAB will launch a collection for high street department store Debenhams on October 18.The collaboration will form part of the British chain's Edition category, which brings contemporary designers to a broader audience.

"Working with Debenhams on the range has enabled the Marios Schwab brand to be introduced to a new, exciting and strong-minded Edition customer," said Schwab."It has been a great experience to introduce elements of the DNA of my label to a wider range of women, taking inspirations from signature pieces of my collections and adapting them in to a product for a customer who is confident and knows exactly what she is looking for in her wardrobe.I wanted to introduce her and challenge her with a capsule range that incorporates my vision for the perfect dresses for all occasions."

Previous labels to have teamed up with the store under the Edition line include Jonathan Saunders, Roksanda Ilincic, Jonathan Kelsey, Henry Holland and Preen.Designers are required to sign up for a minimum of four seasons.Schwab's range will be priced between £75 and £150.

Schwab showcased his debut lingerie line, created with ASOS.COM, on Sunday night as part of the iconic Parisian cabaret show Le Crazy Horse.
